GitLab Container Registry is a secure and private registry for Docker images. Built on open-source software, GitLab Container Registry is completely integrated with GitLab.

The container registry is the first Docker registry that is fully integrated with Git repository management and comes out of the box with GitLab 8.8. This Container Registry requires no additional installation. It allows for easy upload and download of images from GitLab CI.

• The integration will scan (the components) of your GitLab containers for known vulnerabilities.
• Containers can be linked to a code repository in order to perform better deduplication of findings. This is optional.

The integration is included in all plans of Aikido.

Limits apply in terms of the amount of containers that can be scanned.
